How Much Is Venison Saddle

Rezept: Spaghetti Napolitan / Supagetinaporitan

Surely you know Napoli Spaghetti (spaghetti with a simple tomato sauce). Here I show you even the Japanese version of it called the Spaghetti Napolitan or Naporitan.
Typical ingredients for this include onions, peppers, ham, Vienna sausage, bacon or other meat and sausages.

The recipe for Spaghetti Napolitan was briefly after the second world war. At that time, a chef of a hotel in Yokohama, which was used as a base by U.S. troops, had invented this recipe. Tomato paste at this time was difficult to get, he had simply replaced with ketchup.
It quickly became a popular meal that was cooked like at home and in restaurant.

Actually, I eat pasta with ketchup even less happy, but in combination with all the ingredients I think it is incredibly delicious. Also, I have so often done in Bento communicated removed, since the sauce is also good to eat cold.

Vegetarians can omit the ham, of course:)

Serves 4:
  • 400g spaghetti
  • 1.5 liters of water 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 onion 2 cloves garlic 150g cooked ham
  • 6 mushrooms
  • 2 peppers 2 tablespoons oil
  • 100ml ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons water salt & pepper
  • parmesan parsley
first the onion and garlic peeled, cut into thin strips. Peppers and mushrooms into thin strips as well. Cooked ham cubes. Finely chop the parsley.

second In a saucepan, 1.5 liters of water with 2 tablespoons salt to a boil.

third Meanwhile, heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the first cook the onions translucent, then add the garlic, mushrooms and ham and fry briefly. Then add the peppers and let simmer briefly.

4th Then add the ketchup, 3 tablespoons water and mix with the vegetables. Season with salt and pepper. simmer over low heat.

5th Place in the boiling water and then the spaghetti al dente boil.

6th The noodles can either be mixed with the sauce in the pan or spread the spaghetti on her plate and give the sauce over it. With Parmesan and parsley garnish. Serve immediately.

Gemüse: Enokitake / Enoki mushrooms

Enokitake are sometimes a little yellowish white long thin mushrooms with a small cap. In Japan they are very popular and are grown there for over 300 years. After the Shiitake they are there to the most cultivated edible mushrooms. Here they are also known as snow fungus or Spawn .
past were bred Enokitake times on wood, but nowadays they are cultivated in large quantities in a kind of plastic bottles with Sägemehlsubstrat to see well on this side (Japanese) or here .
The wild form these fungi, however, is brown and has thicker stems.

The Enoki can be used very versatile so they can be fried, for example, steaming, place in soup or even eat raw as salad. They taste slightly nutty flavor and are very crisp. However, you should fry them only briefly, since they lose their flavor quickly.

In larger Asialäden find them often in the fresh vegetables on the shelves. There they are packed in small bags. I paid for my Enokitake for a 200g pack € 1.50 . They keep packed a week in the refrigerator.

I had these fungi also brought ever tasted from a can, but I found it rather disgusting, because they were labbrig something slimy and totally. That was not quite my thing. So I prefer to grab back to the fresh mushrooms.

Somehow I have to every time I Mushrooms in the hands, keep thinking about the tree spirits from Princess Mononoke . Somehow, they do have similarity, right? XD

New York Part 4: Wall Street & Ground Zero

Monday 10:01:11 / Afternoon:

After the small harbor tour with visit to the Statue of Liberty , we went to lunch north through the Financial Destrict to Wall Street further. We are again briefly strolled through Battery Park, at the U.S. Custom House are over and then down Broadway to Wall Street went along. Here we have
for lunch only time an original American hot dog from one of the many street stalls indulgence. The sausage was a bit of getting used to, but otherwise it was quite tasty.

abounds in every corner of it here so before police, who are either traveling by foot or car. But not only in financial Destrict the levy of the police is so enormous, but in all of Manhattan. But we have the least disturbance. It has thus not felt unsafe in any case. Incidentally, the siren wailing as we know it from movies, we have heard in NY rare.

Links: Next to the Wall Street is the Trinity Church . Although it is 86 meters high, but between all the skyscrapers it looks rather small.

Right: 40 Wall Street also The Trump Building called 283 meters high and proud.

located in this district the way, the most and tallest skyscraper in New York. I had not written in the first post I was disappointed at the arrival of the height of the building somewhat, but here it was already huge: D

think that Wall Street will surely be a concept you. These are for many banks and the largest exchange in the world, the New York Stock Exchange (right).
So the Wall Street very clean and rather unspectacular. Prior to most buildings are huge with bollards security barriers and security personnel.

left is the stock market , right the Federal Hall, a former Congress building. In front of the bronze statue of George Washington.

Then we took a walk next to Ground Zero . The image above I have photographed from a Bauplakat because you actually can see very little of the site. All around are fences erected to block one's view.

are why we went to the other side. There, a temporary bridge was built across the street. From here you could see a little more.

The picture shows the shell of the left 1 WTC building. It will sometimes be the tallest building in New York. The building right next to the WTC 7 has already been made ready. And right you see the future 4 WTC .
The website of the WTC way you can see how the whole time to look like.

Opposite the site, the Tribute WTC Visitor Center that we have visited. There is a museum and memorial in one. Here you get more time tells how it all on 11 September was what happened after that and look how to rebuild. In addition, there are also several photographs of the people , personal memorabilia items have been pulled from the rubble like a big deformed steel beam and much, much more shown. Many gifts were issued from abroad. Sometimes I had to keep back the tears really, because it was visible but very poignant and sad at the time what all happened. A visit is worth in any case, but pictures here on I will not post.

But to return to the topic of Japan again, where they had issued an original origami crane of Sadako Sasaki from 1955. She was then bomb victims in Hiroshima, and with its over 1,000 cranes become famous, they had their time in the hospital folded up to her death. Since that date, origami cranes in Japan as a symbol of peace.

The Crane in 2007, donated by Sasakos sister at the Visitor Center. Hope you can see him fairly, he's been more than 1-2 cm in size.

The staircase to the lower part of the museum, were still further 10,000 origami cranes by Japanese school children, relatives and friends the victims of 11th September folded and sent to the Visitor Center. You should stand for the hope for peace in the world.

To be continued ...

Here you come to Part 1, Part 2 , Part 3, Part 5 the trip.

Bento # 32: Mozzarella piggy Enokitakesalat and dragon fruit

times I did today for what in my cute bento, so I quickly made me do two pigs.

did this, I only used two mini-mozzarella balls, a slice of sausage, nori and the cheeks somewhat Okonomiyakisauce (ketchup is also possible).
course, a fast, simple if you have a right cutter for the sausage and punch to the eye. This saves the time and yet a few nerves, as one would cut it by hand;)

For the petals, I have two snow peas briefly with the broccoli cook together and then cut into strips. The flower itself, I have also put out with punches from carrot.

Above: rice, sliced snow peas, carrot flowers, broccoli and mozzarella piggy
Below: Enokitakesalat, dressing, cherry tomato and dragon fruit

Do Women Prefer Hairy Mens Genitals

drinking pleasure: Popping Boba

As my tapioca pearls for bubble tea are now empty, I've finally ordered out of curiosity times Popping Boba . This is Boba is not so long in German online shops and to my knowledge currently only at Fair Ambassador (formerly Teagree). There

The Popping Boba there in 5 flavors: strawberry, mango, lychee, passion fruit and yogurt. However costs € 29.95 per bucket (10 € more than the same amount of tapioca pearls). manufacturer Possmei .

What are popping Boba?
Popping Boba pearls are small, filled with fruit juice, when the bite down easily explode in the mouth and thus release the juice. The good thing is that they not have to cook as normal tapioca pearls, but they can directly handle any more.

top of the image I have sometimes a mixture of
  • 1 / 2 cup strong green tea
  • 1 / 4 cup milk a dash of coconut milk
  • a shot of orange juice 2-3 tablespoons
  • Popping Boba
made. All given up on the Popping Boba with a few ice cubes in a shaker and shake well. Then, in a glass of 2-3 tablespoons Popping Boba fill and pour the shake over. Was very tasty and refreshing. A different cocktail, which I determined in summer more often will do. But the imagination because there are no limits placed.
through the syrup in which the Boba, and the fruit juice in the beads, do you actually need not add another more syrup.

Unfortunately, there are now only in the Popping Boba 3.2 kg bucket. But this is not so much as thought and the bucket is not that huge. The Boba're done laid in syrup, hence all the weight.
I feared I had half my refrigerator for the bucket had to overcome;)

The Boba keep after opening about 1 years in the refrigerator.

I have here opted for the Strawberry Boba. They are sweet and taste like strawberry, of course. The skin of Boba (think she is a thin layer of agar ) is very thin and can be easily crushed by the tongue. Reminded me a bit of fish eggs, only containing sweet;)

Pretty to make Boba intended as a decoration on yogurt, ice cream and other desserts. I have not tried though.

I had before, of course, also asked what so everything is in the Popping Boba there. Unfortunately, I had no information about the Internet found. Think they are interested in some of you. Therefore I have translated once the ingredients list :
The e-additives are all safe and are also used in the manufacture of other foods. here and here You can learn about the e-materials even more.

My conclusion: The taste can
If the popping of course not comparable to the Boba tapioca pearls . To this end they are simply too different. The Boba
but a delicious thing for a change and something completely different. And I personally find the taste of tapioca pearls something better. I will eventually taste the fruit of the Boba too much. But that is as always a matter of taste. Maybe I should mix this week once the two varieties with each other?
The advantage of the Popping Boba tapioca pearls compared to, however, that they are not boiled before they need and are stable up to 1 year.

In most bubble tea shops will be offered as a topping Popping Boba rather long ago. So who Popping Boba would like to try it and want to buy not just the 3 kg bucket may like to look in my post about Bubble Tea . There I found at the end of the post the most popular bubble tea shops in Germany. Perhaps there is also a store near you:)
